Feature of Magnesium Rods:
(1) Light weight. As a light metal structure material, magnesium
alloys are 1.74gcm-3, which is equivalent to 2/3 of aluminum, steel
L/4, and zinc about 1/4. This characteristic is of great
significance to reduce weight and reduce energy consumption in
modern handicap products.
(2) higher strength than strength. Under the same rigidity
conditions, the strong level of 1kg magnesium alloy is equal to
18kg of aluminum and 2.1kg steel.
(3) High shock absorption performance. Magnesium has excellent
stagnation shock absorption performance, which can absorb vibration
and noise. It is used as a device case to reduce noise
transmission, impact resistance, and reduce depression damage. Its
impact resistance is 20 times that of plastic.
(4) Good casting performance. Under the condition of maintaining a
good structure, the wall thickness of the magnesium products can be
less than 0.6mm, which cannot be achieved by plastic products under
the same intensity. Aluminum can only be compared with magnesium in
the range of 1.2 ~ 1.5mm.
(5) High -molding productivity. Compared with aluminum, the heat
capacity of magnesium alloys is lower, which means that it can
solidify faster in the mold. Generally speaking, its productivity
is 40%to 50%higher than aluminum die, and it can reach twice the
maximum of twice the die -cast aluminum.
